- a redirect from the URL requested to another one specified by the server administrator.

- quite possibly one of the best free traffic analysis tools out there. It’s free and provides a large amount of data in a wide spectrum.

- making sure that your site can still be viewed functionally without JavaScript enabled.

- creating content that is keyword rich within reason and doesn’t exceed the recommended 7% in the keyword density formula (Keyword frequency / Total # of words in page = Keyword Density).
- Microformats
- a series of standardized methods for marking up common content using simple, semantic HTML and CSS class names in order to allow machines to read and understand data that might otherwise be intelligible only to humans.
- nofollow
- prevents search engines from assigning any page rank weight to the recipient site because of the inbound link. It’s simply a way for a site to indicate that it does not endorse the site it is linking to. Search engines will still crawl these links.
